The film follows Jass (Gippy Grewal), who falls in love with Mahie (Mahie Gill) at a friend's wedding. Mahie wants to marry someone without a family to avoid in-law interference. To win her, Jass pretends to be an orphan with help from his friend Honey (Gurpreet Ghuggi). Mahie's brother Taji forces them to marry immediately, so Jass marries her without telling his father Advocate Dhillon, brother Goldy Dhillon, or sister-in-law Daljeet Dhillon.
